Metallica - The Day That Never Comes

Well, another rock band that mixed their music with hip hop stuffs. I appreciate this music, but to me it's ruining the purity of heavy rock deep inside their music. Well, what do you think about this experiment?

The Click Five - Modern Minds And Pastimes (2007)

Modern Minds and Pastimes is the second album of The Click Five, released on June 26, 2007.

The album contains the singles "Jenny", "Happy Birthday", "Empty" and "Flipside". It was well-received in Southeast Asia although the album peaked at #136 in the US Billboard Top 200 albums.

This album is pretty good pop/rock album and my personal favorite is "Empty" (The only song from the band that I have played almost 100 times and another amazing closing track). Other songs are pretty good too, but "Empty" is absolutely the gem of the album.

Natalie Imbruglia - Counting Down The Days (2005)

Counting Down the Days is the third studio album by Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia. Released in 2005, it spawned the singles "Shiver" and "Counting Down the Days".

The album debuted at number one in the United Kingdom selling over 40,000 copies on its first week and her highest charting release there. It is certified Gold in the UK and has sold about 800,000 copies worldwide.

Even though this is the lowest selling studio album of Natalie Imbruglia, it is my favorite personally. Several tracks that received heavy rotation on my playlist in 2005 are "Shiver", "Counting Down The Days", "On The Run" and When You're Sleeping". I really love this album that time and "Counting Down The Days" is the song that still get little airplay until now (I'm so in love with the song).

Track List:

1. "Starting Today" (Kara DioGuardi, Martin Harrington, Ash Howes, Natalie Imbruglia) – 2:53
2. "Shiver" (Imbruglia, Eg White, Shep Solomon) – 3:40

The Comparison: Brooke White vs. McFly

McFly

Brooke White

Well, another hard comparison right here. Both sang in their different ways and those are great version. Personally, I love Brooke's music better than McFly's, even with huge margin... But for this song I should give my vote to McFly, because they're succeeded to make it different that James Taylor's version. Brooke also did great with Carole King's version, but this time my vote goes to McFly. But then what do you think???

Song Of The Day: Duncan James - Can't Stop A River

Here is the song from Duncan James that happens to be my personal favourite. I really love the piano play and Duncan's husky voice. It makes the message behind the song sent more powerfully. The song is about how the man cannot stop love the girl and he's trying so hard to give the evidence of his love. Really humble and amazing song that you must listen!!!

The Pussycat Dolls - Stickwitu (2005)

Another pop song as tribute to the winner of my visitors' favorite genre. "Stickwitu" is my personal favorite from The Pussycat Dolls. I found this song really sweet and tender and I have played this song over 300 times. I can relate to the power of love deep inside the song and Nicole's voice is amazing (It hurts to see Nicole doing so many bad songs lately). By the way it was huge hit in 2005 and very enjoyable track you should listen!!!
